Fairfax, Va, April 16, 2020 - The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) is pleased to announce two exciting additions to the 2020 Annual Meeting, NAILBA 39, November 18-20, 2020 in Hollywood, Florida. Award winning American actor, screenwriter and financial advisor, Andy Buckley will be the featured entertainment for the Douglas Mooers Awards Dinner and Pacific Life will return as the exclusive event sponsor.
The Douglas Mooers Award for Excellence is the NAILBA’s most coveted and prestigious award. Named after NAILBA’s Founding Chairman, H. Douglas Mooers, the Mooers Award was established in May of 1986. This annual award honors excellence in brokerage and is bestowed upon the individual most committed to furthering brokerage and independent life brokerage as a distribution system.
 Buckley is an accomplished financial advisor with twelve years of expertise working for a major bank providing personal asset management of up to $400 million. He is also known for his television role in "The Office," as David Wallace, CFO of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, playing opposite Steve Carrell on the NBC hit comedy. His part on The Office led to a number of other Film & TV roles including supporting roles opposite Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg in "The Other Guys," playing the father in the International Blockbuster "Jurassic World" and again working opposite Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler & Jeremy Renner in the Warner Brothers comedy "The House." Buckley has regular appearances in HBO’s "VEEP," CBS' "Scorpion," Hulu’s "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia." For the past three years, he also starred on the acclaimed Bravo comedy series "Odd Mom Out."
Born in Boston, Buckley spent time growing up in St. Louis, Chicago, and South Florida. He attended Stanford, where he played on the golf team during his first two years. He’s married with two sons and resides in Los Angeles. Buckley blends his financial and entertainment background to captivate audiences wherever he speaks.
