Rear Admiral Garry Hall, Jim “Bones” Mackay, and Ross Bernstein to Speak at NAILBA 39: ENGAGEThe group will serve as keynotes at the event’s January 2021 live dates.FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—(Fairfax, VA)—01/11/2021—The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) today announced that Rear Admiral Garry Hall, Jim “Bones” Mackay, and Ross Bernstein are upcoming keynote speakers at NAILBA 39: Engage. The free virtual conference, which began in November 2020, is comprised of eight live days through February 2021, as well as OnDemand content available for the duration of the event. NAILBA 39 has yielded record attendance from the insurance community.

Rear Admiral Hall, sponsored by American National, is keynote for NAILBA’s January 13 Life and Disability Insurance day. received a political appointment to serve as a Senior Director on the National Security Council (NSC) and Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. On the NSC, he was responsible for Human Rights, Humanitarian Assistance, Immigration and Migration, Atrocity Prevention, United Nations Operations, Democracies, and Fragile States. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he served 35 years on active duty.
Mackay, sponsored by AIG, will be NAILBA’s keynote on January 27, Life Insurance and Annuities day. Mackay was one of the PGA Tour’s most well-respected and successful caddies for over two decades. Nicknamed “Bones,” he was best known as the caddy for Phil Mickelson, who he worked with for 25 years. Bones was on the bag for all five of Phil’s Major Championships, including the 2005 PGA Championship, three Masters titles, and the 2013 Open Championship.
Bernstein, sponsored by Prudential, is a bestselling sports author and award-winning peak performance business speaker. He will return to NAILBA as the second January 27 keynote, for a “Champion’s Code 2.0” follow up to his 2017 presentation “The Champion’s Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability from the Sports World to the Business World.”
