Why Join NAILBA?The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) was established in 1981 to represent the business, legislative, and regulatory interest of the independent wholesale life insurance brokerage agencies. From government affairs, to professional development opportunities, to the official annual meeting and convention of America's brokers and brokerage general agencies, NAILBA continues to lead the way in protecting the interest of the wholesale brokerage industry. The qualifications for an agency’s acceptance as a regular organizational member are as follows:
To qualify for the member emeritus category you must be a retired principal from a NAILBA member agency, or an agency principal who no longer qualifies for membership as a Regular member. The individual’s agency (or former agency) shall have no less than five (5) continuous years of NAILBA membership, in good standing, prior to retirement.
