In a recent survey of NAILBA member agencies, 71% of those surveyed felt that Agency Practices were very important in helping them grow their business. Almost 30% of those surveyed felt it was critical to their business. Further results indicated that bottom line metrics were the most critical and challenging for most BGAs.
As a result of input by NAILBA member agencies, the NAILBA Professional Development Committee has collaborated with some of the best minds in the industry to develop this workbook to help your agency grow and prosper by planning for the growth of your business and monitoring your bottom line more efficiently.
This library of metrics is focused on financial, new business, recruiting/retention, and marketing benchmarks currently used by some of your NAILBA peers. You now have the tools to create a “scorecard” specific to your business model by selecting the metrics that are applicable to you.
This Workbook includes a series of specific performance measurement metrics designed to assist you in determining whether your agency is meeting its economic goals. While NAILBA does not endorse the use of any one performance measuring system over another and makes no recommendations of what your performance goals should be, NAILBA strongly believes that member agencies should use the data that is readily available as part of their AMS systems to provide the facts that will enable the agency to evaluate its actual economic performance and maximize its growth potential.
