NAILBA to Present NAILBA 30 November 17-19

(Fairfax, Va.)—The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) will present its 30th Annual Meeting this week at the JW Marriott Resort and Conference Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Scheduled November 17-19, 2011, this is the premier annual event in the independent wholesale insurance brokerage community.  

NAILBA 30 program highlights include: 

  • Opening General Session Thursday, November 17 featuring Jim Collins, management educator and author of Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap…And Others Don’t and the newly-released Great by Choice: Uncertainly, Chaos and Luck;
  • An Exhibitor Training Breakfast on Thursday, November 17 featuring Kathleen Ronald of Speaktacular;
  • General Session Friday, November 18 with Tony Hsieh, CEO of internet superstore Zappos and author of Delivering Happiness;
  • NAILBA Charitable Foundation Silent and Live Auction, Friday, November 18;
  • The launch of the NAILBA Agency Successor Networking Group (ASNG), a group designed to provide leadership training for individuals on track to take over their agencies in the next five years, at a reception and workshop created specifically for them;
  • Announcement of the Douglas Mooers Award of Excellence recipient at the Mooers Award Dinner, Friday, November 18;
  • Closing General Session Saturday, November 19 featuring former Senator Christopher Dodd;
  • A dynamic Exhibit Hall featuring more than 110 booths; and
  • Workshops and social events.
