ASNG is a group of NAILBA members who are, or soon will be, transitioning into the role of principal of their agency.
Formed in 2011, the goal of this networking group is to ensure that the new wave of NAILBA member agency leaders is ready for the challenge! This networking group will focus on providing leadership, management, and skill training to ensure the success of these new agency leaders, while allowing them to build a network and support group of other new leaders to help them grow their agencies in the years to come.
Participants must meet two or more of the following criteria to be eligible to participate in the networking group:
- Recently began serving as an agency principal (suggested guideline 1-3 years)
- Designated as the successor to a NAILBA agency via verbal or written commitment, and is scheduled to take over the agency in the near future (suggested guideline 1-5 years)
- Currently has at least 25% ownership in an agency and has been given at least verbal commitment of succession by sitting principal
- Recommended by the agency principal with the commitment that the participant will succeed the sitting principal in the near future (suggested guideline 1-5 years)

Call for Subject Matter Experts/Speakers and Mentors
In order to help facilitate the goals of the ASNG, the group conducts monthly teleconferences facilitated by a subject matter expert in many business areas. We are looking for volunteers for the 2017 calendar year to speak to this high powered group of industry leaders to address the topics outlined in this Call for Speakers. Please review the Call for Speakers here and return your completed form to Kathy Allison.
The group meets by teleconference on a regular, bi-monthly schedule. Each call focuses on a specific transition or agency-management related topic, and features a subject matter expert along with group Q&A. Calls are recorded and shared with the group for those unable to participate live. Dates, topics and speakers subject to change; members have been provided with full descriptions and call-in information, but can contact Kathy Allison for more details.
