NAILBA Announces Keynote Speakers for NAILBA 28

(Fairfax, Va.) Nationally-recognized speakers Tom Brokaw, Dan Pink, and Greg Gumbel will present keynote addresses at NAILBA 28, the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies’ (NAILBA) annual meeting, scheduled for November 12-14, 2009 in Hollywood, Florida.

“We’re pleased to offer a diverse group of speakers delivering timely and wide-ranging insights to thriving in this emerging world,” noted NAILBA Chairman Gary Dworkin, CLU, RHU. “Our audience will immediately benefit from the wisdom of bestselling author Daniel Pink, sports broadcaster Greg Gumbel and veteran newsman Tom Brokaw.”

Beginning November 12, Dan Pink will discuss what the transformation from traditional workplace model to the “free agent nation” will mean to NAILBA member agencies. He’ll explain how the high touch qualities of design, storytelling and play become a means to attract and keep talented people, why this change is happening, and the six essential aptitudes necessary for thriving in this emerging world.

On Friday, November 13, Greg Gumbel will provide a ringside seat on sports’ most legendary events, complete with inspiring profiles of the athletes who made them possible.

On Saturday, November 14, NAILBA will feature “Breakfast with Brokaw,” with veteran journalist and news anchor Tom Brokaw.  Brokaw will answer audience questions and provide his perspective on current events.

NAILBA 28 is the insurance brokerage industry’s premiere event, featuring education and networking opportunities for this specialized community. This year’s event will feature a series of concise educational workshops focused on legislative and regulatory changes impacting distribution, sales and marketing, and opportunities to learn about sales and marketing techniques to help independent brokerage general agencies thrive.  Additional learning options will include discussions of key trends by industry experts as well as opportunities to connect with business partners in the exhibit hall.

Registration for NAILBA 28, as well as information about the hotel, and a full program of events, can be found at www.nailba.org.
