Community

NAILBA 33 (November 20-22, 2014): The must-attend event in the brokerage industry for learning about the latest financial products, services, industry technologies, sales products, and business applications.

NAILBA CHARITABLE FOUNDATION: The mission of the NAILBA Charitable Foundation is to encourage volunteerism among NAILBA members and provide grant funds to worthy charitable organizations that serve to enhance the quality of life for those less fortunate, with a special emphasis on children.NAILBA Charitable Foundation

 

 

NAILBA AGENCY SUCCESSOR NETWORKING GROUP:  A group of NAILBA members who are, or soon will be, transitioning into the role of principal of their agency. This networking group provides leadership, management, and skill training to ensure the success of these new agency leaders, and provides the opportunity to build a network and support group of other new leaders.

NAILBA PAC:  A transparent, federally monitored means for eligible NAILBA members to express united political interests with one powerful voice.  The NAILBA PAC contributes funds to candidates for public office on the federal level based on the specified criteria for candidate support.  

MOOERS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE: This prestigious award recognizes individuals in the brokerage community whose achievements demonstrate outstanding commitment to independent life brokerage and the insurance world. The recipient is honored at a formal awards ceremony and dinner at the NAILBA Annual Meeting.

NAILBA COMMITTEES: NAILBA members are encouraged to get involved in the inner workings of YOUR association. Committees develop Annual Meeting content, legislative opinion, professional development tools, and more.

SOCIAL MEDIA: NAILBA’s Facebook page, LinkedIn groups, and Twitter accounts help keep members engaged, informed, and entertained with up to the minute information about what’s going on in YOUR association.

APS SUMMARY COURSE:  Teaches agency staff how to complete attending physician summaries.

BGA EMPLOYEE TRAINING SERIES: A 9-course online program available exclusively to NAILBA members.

ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING PROGRAM: An online training program required under U.S. Treasury Department rules and the USA Patriot Act.

BROKERAGE DESK REFERENCE: A comprehensive reference tool that outlines all of the basics of the independent brokerage industry.

E&O INSURANCE: Arthur J. Gallagher and Company, in conjunction with our partner Everest Indemnity Insurance Company is pleased to offer NAILBA member agencies a tailored, comprehensive Errors & Omissions program. In addition, NAILBA member agencies receive a referral fee for each affiliated producer who references their agency on their application.

AGENT E&O INSURANCE PROGRAM: Provides E&O protection specifically tailored to the independent insurance agent.

FIELD UNDERWRITING GUIDE: An interactive resource designed to help get applications completed right the first time. Version 3.0 released in spring 2011.

IMAGING IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE: Designed to help BGAs, carriers, and service providers communicate effectively through the use of data guidelines. 

STANDARD INFORMAL TRANSMITTAL: Created to alleviate one of the most cumbersome procedures in the entire application pipeline -- the informal process. 

Perspectives MAGAZINE: NAILBA’s official magazine and communication tool, this full-color glossy periodical is published for NAILBA members and corporate supporters six times per year.
