Given the uncertainty around big issues like DOL, Tax Reform and what’s happening in Washington that will affect you and the advisors you work with, and even their clients, AALU and NAILBA are sharing some new information, thanks to our ongoing partnership.
AALU will be sharing regular updates on how to Navigate the New Administration. These updates will begin with a kickoff DOL webinar for NAILBA members (link removed) on February 9 at 10 am ET. Panelists will include former Department of Labor official and Drinker Biddle counsel, Brad Campbell (AALU’s Department of Labor counsel), NAILBA Chairman Jim Sorebo, and from AALU Marc Cadin and Chris Morton. Any NAILBA members who sign up for the webinar will receive a compilation of the most salient content released thus far in the AALU’s Navigating the New Administration series. The compilation will include:
- DOL Proposes New Class Exemption Allowing “Insurance Intermediaries” to Enter into BICE Arrangements (The IMO/FMO Exemption)
